Precote® 30/80/85

Precote® is a varnish-like pre-coating system on base of microencapsulated acrylates for locking and sealing of threaded parts. Its characteristics as a sealing and locking element become effective only on assembly, when the capsules are ruptured by shear and/or pressure stress and the adhesive is allowed to cure.   Locking effect according to DIN 267 part 27 Additional sealing in the thread Dry, tack-free and physiologically harmless film Captive part of the thread Avoids corrosion in the threaded connection Good chemical resistance e.g. to fuels, hydraulic fluids, liquid coolants etc.  Before coating the surface condition must be dry, free of dirt, oil, separating agents and other contaminations. Thread friction value must be considered when mounted.  Screws locking against loosening. Fast curing, no post curing even after repeated temperature exposure. For thread ≤ M6 or 1 mm pitch of thread we recommend further clarification for safe-guarding relating to curing and security function. Threaded parts from M3 to M36.
